Job: Special Assistant to the Registrar, Legal Affairs – The Hague

Type of Appointment: Short Term Appointment
Minimum Net Annual Salary: €107,779.00
Essential Qualifications
Education:
Advanced university degree in one of the following three areas: 1) administration and business management; 2) law with specialisation in international law or international criminal, human rights law or international humanitarian law; and 3) international relations and politics. Other closely related areas may be accepted. A first level university degree in combination with two additional years of relevant and qualifying experience is accepted in lieu of the advanced university degree.
Experience:
A minimum of seven years (nine years with a first level university degree) of relevant work experience in at least one but preferably two of the following three areas: 1) administration and business management; 2) judicial support services; and 3) external relations and State cooperation. Other closely relevant areas may be accepted.
Also required are:
• Demonstrated experience in international relations and politics;
• Demonstrated experience in administrative matters in an international organisation, including human resources, budget and finance; and/or
• Demonstrated experience of the dynamics and challenges of field operations of an international organisation.
